Greycork
Greycork was an ambitious flatpack furniture company that focused on efficient and affordable pieces made from high-quality materials.
My work focused on expanding the product line with items that could be easily manufactured and shipped across the country.
The Felix collection was released before I arrived at Greycork and was designed to efficiently ship and assemble.
Above is an imagined expansion of how the modular product line could grow with minimal development cost.
We began evaluating new approaches to efficiently shipping large furniture pieces to reduce manufacturing costs. This living room collection came compressed in tubes, similar to how many mattresses ordered online arrive to consumers.
To keep future furniture collections cohesive with the existing brand identity, we collected swatches and materials true to the established language.
Designed to be affordable to manufacture, distribute, and recycle, these Folding Metal objects were punched from aluminum sheets, powder coated, and shipped flat. Upon receipt, they could be folded into shape by the customer.
